Flu Update

OK we have been sick pretty much the entire month of April. Last Monday morning Amia got really sick. She continued to have issues all through the week and then I got sick again on Wednesday and Thursday. She really hadn't eaten or drank good since Easter Sunday and it was taking a toll on my little baby. We had to take her to the ER Friday night to get IV fluids. Well after 5 attempts they were able to finally get a good poke, however it was in her foot. Let me tell you my baby was not happy and she was vocal about it....rightfully so!!! Momma Hen doesn't like it when her chicks cry and are in pain. Well after two boluses she was a different baby. She did really well yesterday and even stepped outside for some fresh air. Lets pray this is over now because bleach and multiple other disinfectints weren't able to kill the flu germs for me. I will try and post more pics later in the week.
