We headed up North last weekend to the Soo for my grandpa's 80th birthday. It was a quick weekend trip but worth every penny. Lou loved having all of the kids around at the house and for his dinner party on Saturday night. I know my grandma Betty was smiling at seeing all of us together.
I love being from a small town and love showing my kids what being from a small town is like. I am very blessed to have a loving family -no matter how disfunctional we all may be LOL. Plus getting fresh fudge during the warm months (aka July and August) and cheese curds whenever you want them is a big plus in the Soo.
